What to Bring

We highly recommend visiting in the spring time between Feb-May, to ensure the weather is not too hot or humid. 

What to Pack:

  • If you plan to dine at a more upscale experience, it is best to pack a formal jacket for men, and dress or two for women. 
  • Comfortable walking shoes, jeans, t-shirt will be perfect to get you out and about where you want to go. 
  • Packing a small purse or backpack to roam around with is a great idea so you can maximize your time exploring the different streets, bars, and restaurants. 
  • Camera! There will be an incredible amount of photo ops of historical sites so don't forget it!
  • Extra charger for your phone (which can also double as your camera)
  • Sunglasses and hats to shade from that beautiful Southern sun,
  • TIP: Leave a little extra room in your bag to fly home some souvenirs!

What to Bring

  • Umbrella/Poncho (you can never predict the rain so be prepared)

  • Formal Dress- Dresses, skirts, blouses, dark jeans ok, heels or flat for women. Collared shirt, jacket, and slacks for men.
  • Hat and sunscreen- TIP: NOLA has some really great hat shops! Perhaps even come without a hat to find a custom one just for you to fly home with.

The best time of year to visit is during FIESTA, an annual celebration of the community full of parades, and action around every block!
